Welcome to the Children’s Ministry of oneChurch! We exist to partner with families in bringing their children to Christ and helping them become fully devoted followers of Christ. Our Children’s Ministry is a Christ-centered, safe, and fun environment for our children.
Wee Ones Street
Babies through 5 years old will discover:
- God MADE me.
- God LOVES me.
- Jesus WANTS to be my friend forever.
Each week is full of objects for preschoolers to touch, wild and wiggly activities to get them moving, crafts they will love getting into, and real life situations they can relate to. Our goal is to help each child master a monthly key concept by creatively repeating the concept to make it stick.
K-5th graders will embrace the characteristics Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52 through three basic truths:
- I need to make the WISE choice.
- I can TRUST God no matter what.
- I should treat OTHERS the way I want to be treated
Every month the K-5th graders learn a core virtue from the Bible. We teach 36 months worth of virtues, like Patience, Respect, Uniqueness, and Courage. Each teaching session begins with activities to introduce the kids to the day's topic and help them feel welcome and comfortable within their small group. Next, the kids move to large group time which includes a Bible story and worship. After large group, the kids take part in a variety of activities within a small group that will help them apply what they're learning.
Children’s Ministry Policies:
Check-in Policy:
1. A Children’s Registration Form will need to be filled out for each 1st time child visiting a classroom.
Well Child Policy:
1. A child who has a cold, fever (100 degrees F and above), rash, persistent cough, fever, or any other contagious disease will be asked to stay with their parent/guardian.
2. If a children’s volunteer notices this during the service time, the parent/guardian will be notified.
Classroom Policies:
1. Children are received into the classroom 15 minutes prior to service and must be check-in at the registration tables before class.
2. Every parent/guardian should take their child to the restroom before coming to class.
3. Donuts are not allowed in the classrooms.
4. Jesus Loves Your Children & So Do We! Security Stubs must be presented when you pick-up your child. Children will ONLY be released to adults (18 & up).
Tips & Reminders:
1. Please label all of your children’s belongings.
2. We discourage parents from allowing their children to bring toys into class. It is easy for toys to be misplaced or forgotten.
