 Chris Edmondson

Lead Pastor

Chris is the Lead Pastor for oneChurch. Chris graduated from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville and graduated with a Master of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary. Chris has served on church staffs in Texas, Alabama, Virginia and Iowa before returning home to Clarksville to plant a church. Chris has served as a student minister, a college pastor, a worship leader, and as a pastor and church planter. Chris and wife Kim have been married since 1993 and have three boys. Chris is passionate about people. "God's focus is always the people who aren't here yet (Luke 19:10). When the church creates environments where believers can invite the unchurched and dechurched to hear the good news presented in a compelling way, then we as the church will engage and reach our culture. The church should be focused on reaching people and not keeping people. In our country there are over 100 million Americans that do not go to church (To put that number in a global perspective, think of it like this: if the unchurched population were a country unto themselves, they would be the eleventh largest country in the world. Now that is an unreached people group!). It is time for the churches to follow Jesus' example of leaving the 99 to reach the 1. Yet in the reality of our culture, we would be leaving the 1 to reach the 99. God's heart is for the lost, so God's church should have a heart to reach the lost.

 Joshua Woodlief

 Worship Pastor

Joshua has served as a worship leader for 7 years. He has a passion to see people not only sing songs, but also live a life of worship. The Message paraphrases Romans 12:1 saying, "So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life-your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life-and place it before God as an offering."

Josh writes, "I long to see people come to know themselves as loved and pursued by Christ. Unless we understand that we are loved, we will always see ourselves as worthless. Most of us define ourselves by what we lack rather than what we have. It is no wonder that most people have such a twisted perception of their self worth. We judge who we are by our social status, our weight or attractiveness, what we wear or even what we drive. When we truly learn that we are passionately loved by God, these things, which have defined us for so long, become superficial and insignificant. When we see that we are loved, that becomes all that matters, causing everything else to fade and then worship can begin at the point of him loving us and us acknowledging that love."

Ashleigh Headshot 2

 Ashleigh Whitecotton

 Children's Minister

At nine years old, Ashleigh trusted in the Lord to be her Savior. In high school God began placing missions on her heart. While serving as a summer missionary her freshman year of college in New Orleans, God taught her that missions is not always going far away, but it starts right where she lived (Acts 1:8).

Upon returning to Clarksville, God led Ashleigh to serve in a multi-housing community. Little did she know at that time God was preparing her for a two year mission after college in Northern Indiana to serve as the Associational Multi-housing coordinator.Towards the end of the two year mission, she married her husband Robert in 2004. Ashleigh moved back to Clarksville to serve the Lord along side her husband. God opened a door for Ashleigh to serve as interim children's director at a local church in Clarksville. Through this interim position God made it clear to Ashleigh that her calling was to children and their parents.
